6 months!

Happy half birthday to my sweet baby Leyton! (a couple days ago.. September 6th!) :)

I couldn't be more proud of you.. you amaze us everyday. I tell your dad it's like Christmas every morning I get to see you in your crib.. talking away (well, now climbing away). You are such a happy boy!

Your personality is so obvious already. You're a busy boy for sure, and so determined. When you realized you could crawl, you love to explore this whole little house. When you realized you could stand up in your crib (oh boy), you reached for the highest possible bar and want to climb right out!

You love eating food and get so happy! You know your big puppy Easton and laugh at him all the time. You LOVE when your daddy walks in the door after work.. he always gets a big laugh from you. You are ticklish and we can be pretty rough with you.. you love being thrown up in the air :)

You have your favorite toys, but are more interested when we show you new toys. You love crawling in the basement and trying to get up the stairs. You sleep through the night, but when sun starts shining at 6:30, you're up! We love taking small adventures with you, you do pretty well if we have to throw off your schedule a bit (wait, do you have a schedule?) and you take your nap in the car.

We love watching you sleep, watching you play, watching you explore. We LOVE life with you!
