As Erin says, this is the girls hanging out. maybe Ernie?!?
3 months from today, we will (hopefully) be meeting our little son/daughter! Quite amazing.
This week, the baby weighs almost 2 pounds and is about 14.5 inches long with the legs extended. It's sleeping and waking at regular intervals (yes, our bed time is baby's party time), opening and closing its eyes and even sucking those little fingers! With more brain tissue developing, the baby's brain is very active now. While the lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning - with a lot of medical help - if the baby were to reveal itself now. I haven't felt them yet, but this is the time when I might be able to feel like baby hiccups! Cuuuute.
And for me? Here come the muscle cramps, achy back and restless nights. It hasn't been bad at all so far, but my legs are soo jumpy. I know I might not say this in a couple months, but I love every bit of it. I will gladly take some pain knowing that a little.. human is developing inside of me! wonderful.
Still keeping up with the doctors appointments at 4 week intervals (H1N1 shot? check.) and doing the prego fitness classes.
Here's our Christmas tree that we set up this year. It will be so fun to bring a little baby along next year to pick out a perfect tree.
Kristen, you look so great!!! I LOVE the Christmas decor and your cute tree!!! Can't wait to meet your sweet baby!!! xoxo Suz
