We had such a good weekend with our mini fam! Now that Luke is back to work, we savor our weekends so much.. it's great to be together and just do stuff together! So here's how it went..
Friday night Leyton and I met Luke in Maple Grove to shop around a bit and eat at Red Lobster (yummm). I really love eating out with my boys. Leyton's pretty good at sitting in his high chair eating whatever food we give him. We are those parents now that leave a huge mess on the floor when we leave. But I do love that the little mister does well in restaurants.. something that Luke and I love to do. Ended the night by watching some hockey with Stevin (Steph + Kevin), and Mom and Dad Prosser.
On Saturday we went to some sort of local Elk River winter event.. well, not much of an event as people hanging out in a park. But there was a husky show, where a trainer brought his sled dogs to show how it all works and talk about huskys. We brought Easton and he was quite a hit.. we sure like that dog :) We had a fun time hanging out with Muggs and Chris!
Then, Saturday night we went down to St. Paul to hang out with Uncle Nate for a bit before his hockey game on Sunday. Leyton loves his uncle, he just doesn't know it yet :) Afterwards, we spent the night with our wonderful friends, Darren and Al, who live in Burnsville.. finished the night by watching Despicable Me. cute movie!
On Sunday we went to our "old" church on Sunday to say goodbye to our dear friends, the Wendts who are leaving the church to start a new one! We still love our church and miss it, but we have to take a break while we live an hour away.. understandable.
And to top off the weekend, we went to Nate's hockey game in St. Paul on Sunday afternoon and hung out with him after. The game was right smack in the middle of Leyton's nap, so we were a little curious how that was all going to work out. He did great but about halfway through the game, ended up in this position on Grandpa B's shoulder.
So fun right?
Happy Valentines day to everyone! Enjoy your love day :)
